There is a 'fine line' when it comes to royals having political views: Douglas Murray

Author Douglas Murray says “there is a fine line” when it comes to royals expressing political views, after Prince William’s speech on environmental issues at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
“That’s one of the reasons why the monarchy is respected, is he or she must remain above politics,” he told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“It’s understandable that the younger royals will want to sort of cover themselves in some kind of respect by being seen to pick up all the issues that everybody else agrees upon.
“But actually, once you get into climate change stuff, you’re on very political terrain.”
