Here's the components in the big truck/semi starting system:
Key On : Starter Relay (Usually on Firewall) : Magnetic Switch on Starter : Starter Solenoid : Starter
In this video, the issue focused on is the Starter Relay. I have seen the starter relay also called the "Glow Plug Relay" for some reason at NAPA. This same relay and fix is used on many brands of truck such as Mack, Freightliner, International, Volvo, Peterbuilt, Ford, Chevrolet, Harvester, Oshkosh, International, GMC, GM, Navistar, Sterling, Case, Oliver, White, Kenworth, and more.
