'Climate justice warriors' making people 'poorer' with policies

British citizen journalist and business student Sophie Corcoran says she does not want to spend her life “in green misery” to reach “absurd” net zero emission targets.
“(I’m) not going to be able to own a home, not going to be able to go on holiday, not going to be able to drive a car,” she told Sky News Australia.
Ms Corcoran said the “climate justice warriors” are justifying their policies in the name of her generation and are “making people in the UK poorer”.
“They’re saying that ‘we’re doing this for the future generation’.
“But ultimately, as a young person, I know that if we go through with these absurd net zero policies, that I’m going to end up not being able to get a job because businesses are going to move abroad.”
