Erev Shabbat Service - December 22nd, 2020

Come join the TNS community as we gather together in our sanctuary to celebrate Shabbat. With the wisdom of our Rabbi, the joyous music of Cantorial Soloist and song leader Benny Lipson, the amazing music of Mat Gurman, and the wisdom of our tradition, these services always bring renewal and rest from the challenges of the week as we welcome the Sabbath Queen into our lives.
As most of you know, we will continue to hold Shabbat services at our Sanctuary. We encourage you to participate on Facebook Live and YouTube Live and the sanctuary will also be open for the few who feel they need to attend in person or do not have the technical ability to participate online. As stated in previous emails, we will be observing the federal guidelines as well as the guidelines suggested by The Partnership Center for Faith and Opportunity Initiatives of the US Dept of Human Health at our services. Purell and latex gloves will be provided; there will be no Oneg Shabbat (some time off for the amazing Sisters of Simcha!); hugs and kisses are to be replaced by waves and smiles; there will be no communal children's blessing; and we are asking that each family unit who physically attends take advantage of our beautiful and large sanctuary and place yourselves at least six feet away from each other. (The sanctuary has more than enough room for family units to be over 20 feet apart.) People who are at "high risk" because of age, health conditions, etc. are asked to stay home and experience the service online.
