US Highway 41 - V7 - Oaktown to Carlisle, Indiana

This is a video of a drive I took on July 4th weekend, 2021, through SW Indiana along US Highway 41. It was a beautiful day for a trip. This section was driven completely on former US 41 alignments. The thumbnail illustrates one exception. Although the road I am on is called "Old US 41," I believe the original alignment actually continued straight here, running briefly "under" the current alignment, before curving back to the right (NE) to enter Carlisle. When Carlisle was originally bypassed, this old section was still US 41 and did continue straight to become the new (then 2-lane) alignment, continuing on to Sullivan.
