Matatagpuan ang Malacañang sa Kalye J.P. Laurel, San Miguel, Maynila at nakatayô sa pampang ng Ilog Pasig. Dito nanirahan ang lahat ng naging pinunò ng bansa mula kay Gobernador Heneral Rafael de Echague noong 1863, maliban kay Heneral Emilio Aguinaldo, hanggang kasalukuyan.
