What a treat to know that whatever the circumstances, whatever the hardship we face, Jesus is present and He is sufficient for our need. Jesus said that in the world we would have trouble, but to not lose heart and not live in fear because He has overcome the world! Today, there may be suffering. Today, for the sake of the Kingdom, for the cause of Christ you may face persecution, opposition, distress... but the life and the glory of Jesus are being manifested in and through you as you depend on His power at work in you. 1 Peter 4:14 says, "If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, and the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you." We can take courage, refuge, and comfort in that truth today, knowing that God is faithful. Be blessed as you rest in Him today.
