When we discuss topics such as theft or slavery, most of us would probably agree that there is some universal, some objective view as to what constitutes theft and slavery and some universal, some objective view as to whether they are good or bad.

But this turns out to be far from true—the best we can say is that theft and slavery adhere to a triad of probabilities when it comes to rightness and wrongness.

Using our derived operational definition of property, we will define both theft and slavery and determine, without qualification, what they are and what they are not.
