Live and Unplugged this is the 2nd of a short set in the beer garden of the Golden Vine Hotel Autumn 2021.

Unhistorical Fact.... Doctor Bogg notes. "During the U.S. prohibition Jay Williams was on the hunt for booze and acts to sign. Noted for his tactics of getting musos drunk before signing contracts we thought we'd play a little trick on him when he stumbled upon us in the Whipstick. We proceeded to get him so intoxicated on our moonshine that he would sign his catalogue over to us. It all went pear-shaped and I was summoned to give him the once-over. "Boys." I remarked " That cat is high. Look at that look in his eye." I continued to watch over him, taking notes, until he finally passed out."
"We were really worried he'd hurt himself." adds General Nuisance. "Running off barefooted like that. We forgot about the contract"
"When I checked in on him I was surprised to see that he'd gone and was rather annoyed he'd pinched my notebook." Continues Dr Bogg.
"Many years later, listening to a Captain Matchbox Whoopee Band cover of the song I remarked that it sounded like a diagnosis I'd make.First we just laughed then the memory came trickling back. Man, that cat played us like a mouse. We just had to add it to our repertoire after all that."
