Captain of New York in his first year with the panel, American-born Jamie Boyle discusses his unusual route into intercounty GAA, which featured a stint playing college American football during which he attracted interest from the NFL.

The St. Barnabas cornerback was a stand-out performer for New York v Sligo.

It's the first time New York will play a team outside of Connacht and the first time they have played two championship games in the same season.

The game throws in at 9 a.m. EST, that's 2 p.m. Irish time and it will be broadcast live on GAA GO.
