Leaking Pond dam repair BEFORE & AFTER @Kapper Outdoors

Did we fix the leaking pond dam at this beautiful Southern Illinois rural landscape farm pond? Join me today for a follow up look at my Most challenging 'fixing pond dam' /leaking pond dam repair so far. This was one that was supposed to be a 'gimmie,' since the land owner had the pond dam leak fully marked and identified, so we knew where the leak was at the entrance AND we knew where the exit was. EASY PEEZY RIGHT?? Just cut between the two, seal up the leak, and then its time for a cold one... Not so fast... This one did not turn out that way! First we'll take a quick look at the initial pond dam leak, then a quick review of the pond dam leak repair, parts 1 and 2, then we'll do a side by side comparison of the Before and after, and show how much the pond has come up since the repair. During the pond dam repair I used my buddy's Yanmar excavator to try it out and also my Bobcat T650 skid steer (CTL) to haul in good dirt (clay) to fill in the portion of the pond dam that we removed.
