American's Don't Back Down

Welcome back for more expats. Yesterdays video had abysmal performance. You wouldn’t believe the kinds of messages I received in response to… the topic discussed. I am going to avoid mentioning it in this video, because the topic today alone is probably enough to get downvoted into oblivion, or to get me outright banned. If you missed it, you can check it out. Today I am going to be talking a bit about the origins of the United States, origins that have become inconvenient for the state.

I want to preface this by talking about the media message of peaceful transition of power. America has a tradition of peaceful transitions between administrations after elections. That is absolutely true, except for that time the country broke into two factions and fought a civil war. I mean, that was so peaceful that 620,000 Americans died. That is nearly half of all the deaths from Americans in all the wars we have ever fought. Now I am not advocating for civil war, I am not advocating for violence, but I would like to read something to you written by our founding fathers. You could call this the quintessential American document. This is the foundation upon which the country was built. Im not talking about the constitution, think of that as the frame of the building, Im talking about the Declaration of Independence. Let me read some of it here:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.--Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government.

Consider now that article from Time.com about a conspiracy to guarantee the outcome of the election, to circumvent the will of the people. Consider that the new administration, one that is embroiled in accusations of criminal activity and corruption, is killing jobs by the tens of thousands at a time when we desperately need work to take care of our families. Consider the calls to expel duly elected representatives in the federal government, to expel your representation. I would also bring to your attention that the current administration is peeling back the safeguards set up to protect us from an aggressive foreign state which is determined to unseat us, and take our place as the dominant world power. A foreign state that is the enemy of liberty, and everything we stand for.

We are under the boot. They are grinding our faces into the ground. That country that we all love so much has not existed for at least the last two decades. The facade that they used to trick us into supporting them, to trick us into dying for them, has crumbled and revealed the rotten structure underneath.

Things are about to get very dark. It is imperative that you build up your communities. They can silence us on social media, but they cannot stop you from talking to the people around you. I am going to keep talking as long as I have a voice. If they silence me on YouTube then I will continue on other platforms. If they take me off of all of them, then I will take my soap box and shout my message in the center of town. Im not giving up, and neither should you.

Prepare in every way you can. Get to know your community, work together to help each other. There are going to be people who are unprepared, who are unable to prepare. Work as a community to get rid of corruption in your local institutions.

Most of all, remember your 1st amendment right. Make your voice heard, don’t let them silence us.
