NS8098 Conrail heritage unit, Norfolk Southern

As you know I've been on the hunt to catch the NS Heritage units. I'm sure eventually I will see them all, but my most prized to get, my Unicorn so to speak, has always been NS8098. Conrail, Ol Blue him self, well I had gotten word that it was in Conway PA and may be there a while, so I ran in told the wife hop in the car and off we went on a 3 hour road trip to see Ol Blue, and was not disappointed. I basked in its glory till they blocked it off from view. one of the yard workers had said it is not leaving till later that night as a DPU. so we went and explored the area got a bite to eat and found a some what decent lit spot to watch it go by, then headed home. The next morning I awoke to find out it was going to be headed past my way in a day or two. and sure enough it did, and i just laughed thinking i just had to wait and i wouldn't of had to go to Pennsylvania, but it was a great day and got out of the house for a bit. When it did show up here I got some great footage working the Watkins yard, so thats a video for another day, so stay tuned for Heritage catch 7.2. sure hope you enjoyed the video, if ya did please like and subscribe. Conrail (GE) was created by the U.S. government in 1976 from the bankrupt Penn Central, Lehigh & Hudson River, Erie Lackawanna, Central Railroad of New Jersey, Lehigh Valley, Reading and Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines, becoming the largest railroad at the time, with 34,000 route miles.
