Russia gains ground in Donbas amid battle for Ukraine's industrial heartland

Russian forces are inching closer to capturing the key city of Sloviansk, as they make more gains in the critical battle for Ukraine's Donbas region.

Russia is closing in on the city, just 12 kilometers from the frontline, and they are now on the cusp of capturing Luhansk and surrounding Ukrainian-held territory in Donetsk.
