This quest focuses on the Seedium plant Imp Pear and was offered between June 1, 2022 and June 8, 2022.

Imp Pear is a member of the Ail-Mint family.
Costs 0 Sun
When Imp Pear is eaten, the zombie will transform into an Imp.
When Imp Pear is eaten by an imp, the zombie will be defeated. Such zombies emit a noxious gas which stops all zombies behind it for seven (7) seconds.
When given plant food, Imp Pear will randomly turn five (5) zombies into Imps. (+1 per level)
There is a 10% chance (+10% per level) that a zombie will be defeated when eating Imp Pear.

What an amazing plant. A 0 Sun costing plant with a quick recharge that can actually do more than being a speed bump. There really isn't much to like. That's just on the early parts of a level. The ability to handle high health zombies can make things more manageable.

But where this plant shines is through the plant food. The ability to transform multiple zombies into imps which will be easier to deal with is not to be under-appreciated. Throw in Tile Turnip to multiply the transformation effect. Throw in Draftodil or Shrinking Violet to finish off said imps.

Bottom Line - this is one plant one needs to consider for many levels, especially if plant food is plentiful.

This is a Boosterama Zomboss so almost any (serious) strategy should work.
Zoybean Pod and Fume-shroom are not serious strategies. 😜️
