Amid Putin’s Donbas Onslaught, Ukraine Gets Guided Rockets From US, But Can’t Strike Russian Soil

Ukrainian forces are set to get a boost with the US agreeing to send guided rocket systems to Kyiv. The Guided Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (GMLRS) would extend the reach of Ukrainian strikes against Russian targets. However, Washington said that these rockets would fall short of enabling strikes deep within Russian territory. This is in line with Biden's earlier comment that US wouldn't “send anything that can fire into Russia"
