Do THIS 10MIN Home Workout for a BIG CHEST (DUMBBELLS ONLY!!)
The best home chest workout will require you to hit your chest with a few unique exercises, from multiple angles (while dialing up the intensity). Fortunately, this routine will do exactly that! For this workout, all you will need is a set of dumbbells that are right for you and a space to perform the exercises. I've put together 6 superset exercises that are really going to make you feel the burn in your chest. As always, try and repeat this workout a total of 2 to 3 times for maximum results and let me know down in the comments below if you're able to get this far.
Some of the exercises I'm going to take you through today are plyo push-ups, body walkout to push-up, and lying chest flys. These exercises are great for isolating your pectoral muscles and as I walk you through them, I want you to focus on squeezing and contracting the muscle as much as possible. In some of the more dynamic movements such as the plyo push-up, you want to ensure your chest is lightly touching the ground and you're pushing up as explosively as possible.
Some other important things to consider when performing these exercises is to remember to breathe, it's critical you never hold your breath. ALWAYS remember to practice good mind to muscle connection. I want you to always be imagining the muscles working as you are going through the exercise so you can activate them as much as possible. Another important aspect is to always prioritize control over speed for the sake of preventing injuries and ensuring we're getting micro-tears in the pectorals that are responsible for the muscle growth during the recovery and repair phase.
I hope you enjoy this total demolition workout of the chest. Remember to give yourself 48 hours of rest before training this muscle group and so you can allow for optimal growth of the muscles.
