2021 BMW MH2 GTR
.............................
For those of you who don’t know them, Manhart is a team that specializes in optimizing and enhancing a wide range of BMWs, with over thirty years worth of experience in the field. They have also expanded their portfolio to include cars from the likes of Porsche, Toyota, and Volkswagen, to name just a few. But we are here to talk about those from the BMW world, and more specifically, their latest offering. This is the Manhart MH2 GTR, a one-off sports car that's based on the M2 CS.

The basis of this car is the BMW M2, specifically the F87 M2 Series, which first emerged in 2016. The CS itself was a limited edition, and Manhart’s team of engineers and specialists from Wuppertal have added significant upgrades to an already fast and capable car. The first thing that very much catches our eye is the car's looks, referencing the motorsport M2 CS racing with the stunning BMW Racing livery, and then culminating in the Manhart carbon rear wing as well. Carbon fiber fenders have been added, to add Manhart’s very own track flair to the MH2 GTR.

But it is not just external changes that Manhart has focused their attention on. They have done plenty of work under the hood as well. The car comes, with standard, a 450 horsepower engine that produces 550 Nm of torque, with the engine being an in-line six-cylinder Biturbo engine. Manhart has taken this engine to a new level, by bumping up the horsepower to a whopping 600 hp and it now produces 830 Nm of torque, making the car a rocket ship. All the noise from that mighty engine is channeled through Manhart's stainless steel exhaust system, with valve control as well.

Step inside the car and you will see further changes inside, making it a far from stock interior. It has received plenty of refinements. The MH2 now features Recaro sports seats, which allow for perfect access to the refined carbon steering wheel spokes, which comes directly from BMW’s M Performance program. A data display is now present on the center console, with all the information a driver will ever need on display.

Starting Price $58,900 for the M2 CS (plus $22,770 for the body kit)
