Legacy SF Gen Bornman 6 School of Infantry

Brigadier General Cornelius Jansen Bornman speaks to us about his distinguished career in the South African Army. He started in 1965 in the Army Gymnasium. Sixteen years were in command positions - the last as Commanding General – Special Forces Brigade (1995-1999). He also completed various staff courses which are rated higher than an MBA by me.
In this episode, he talks of the School of Infantry where junior leaders are trained. He also talks of air superiority during the Bush War, and much more, like the role played by the Army Cadet Corps in preparing young men for the Army. Indeed, a fascinating conversation with a senior officer.
