Legacy Conversations - SF - Brig Gen Bornman 4

Brigadier General Cornelius Jansen Bornman speaks to us about his distinguished career in the South African Army. He started in 1965 in the Army Gymnasium. Sixteen years were in command positions - the last as Commanding General – Special Forces Brigade (1995-1999). He also completed various staff courses which are rated higher than an MBA by me.

In this episode, he talks of his time at the Army Gymnasium as a platoon and company commander as well as adjutant after graduating from the Military Academy. No less than four future Special Forces commanders came through the Army Gymnasium following the same route. Indeed, a fascinating conversation with a senior officer. If you have questions for the General, leave them below. Please subscribe and activate the bell to be informed of new episodes.
