Understanding Aspects in astrology

Aspects are a very important part of astrology. I think of aspect as influence. When any planet sits in a house, the sign influences that planet and vice versa. That planet then aspects 7 houses away from its location influencing the house/sign opposite it and its indication.
All planets except the nodes aspect the house they are in and house opposite (7th house from where they are), Saturn also aspects the 3rd and 10th house from it, Mars 4th and 8th and Jupiter 5th and 9th. The nodes also aspect 5th and 9th from themselves.
If more than one planet is in a house/sign, then they are all aspecting each other which is called a conjunction and influencing the house they are in and the house opposite and obviously if they have special aspects like Saturn, mars and Saturn then you have that to consider too.
You can also use their rulership too so if for a Taurus ascendant Jupiter is in Cancer with Mars, you can say 8th and 11th House ruler Jupiter is aspecting Cancer the 3rd house as is Mars ruler of 7th and 12th house. As well as influencing each other and the house opposite to Cancer which is Capricorn 9th house. Mars is also aspecting Ibra the 6th house by its 4th aspect and and Aquarius 10th house by its 8th. Meanwhile Jupiter is aspecting Scorpio the 7th and Pisces the 11th house. You now put all these elements together one by one.
