It’s almost midnight on March 18, 2021, and 26 year-old Alexander Stetz goes speeding by FHP and our Deputy Josh Beccue while they are working a traffic accident on Southwest 103rd Street Road. Deputy Beccue attempts a traffic stop on Stetz…but he doesn’t stop…he runs. Which he probably decided to flee because he doesn’t have a license, has Meth on him and because he has warrants out for his arrest for Resisting Arrest and Failure to Appear for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Criminal Mischief and DWLSR.

Stetz drives all over the SW part of Marion Oaks and the Highlands while turning his lights off in hopes that he loses our deputies. What he doesn’t realize is he can’t run…Air-One is up watching his every move HAHA!! Finally, he turns on SW 155th Street only to see two deputies waiting of him. He attempts to flee on foot but realizes that is probably a bad idea and gives up.

During a search of the vehicle, deputies locate a container with Methamphetamine and a used hypodermic needle. Stetz was arrested and charged with: Flee/Elude, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unregistered Motor vehicle, DWLSR plus his warrants. He was transported to the Gold Star Hotel where he has no bond.
