*TRIBES* (1970)

Unforgettable Made-for-TV Movie, made during the Vietnam War and released in 1970, about Marine Boot Camp. Darren McGavin and Jan-Michael Vincent make it unforgettable.

It must have been re-run hundreds of times because we didn't see it until the '80s. It was Rated TV-PG at the time.

*Jan-Michael Vincent had served in the California Army National Guard.

*Remained in the National Guard Reserves until 1971.

*Darren McGavin was the father in 'A Christmas Story".
