This series depicts the blood, sweat, and tears to get the 1968 Supreme Court decision granting all people access to public beaches and pools. Bishop James Black is interviewed in Biloxi Mississippi. Bishop Black was beaten and jailed as a teenager working with the Civil Rights hero Dr. Gilbert Mason Sr. on 2 of the 4 Wade-Ins in Biloxi. Wade-Ins and Swim-Ins were organized in several states involving Medgar Evers and Dr. Martin Luther King. Participants were beaten, kicked, spit on, and treated less than human. And still remained peaceful. Finally, after much bloodshed, these hero's achieved justice!
