Indiana Northeastern Speeder trip 2021 Coldwater Mi to Steubenville JCT.

This a video of the 2021 NARCOA speeder trip on the Indiana Northeastern railroad. This was shot on Sunday August 29 2021 as we were heading back from Coldwater MI. The towns or locations as they appear in the video are as follows. Coldwater Mi, Quincy Mi, Hillsdale Mi where we got a quick rain shower as we ran the cars over the track scale. As heard in the video my car weighs 1600 pounds. After leaving Hillsdale we passed the large grain facility in Reading Mi, followed by the unused elevator and station in Montgomery. The state line was marked by a stone pillar at a lone dirt road crossing, once in Indiana we made our way to Angola In for a stop at Trine University. The final part of this video is the switch at Steubenville Junction where we would back the last mile or two to where the set off location.

This was a legal trip on an active railroad which we had permission to operate our cars on. As part of the requirements each person is insured and is licensed in the safe operation of their equipment.

I was operating my Fairmont MT19 that is powered by a twenty HP Onan gas motor.
