A resident of the city told how the Nazis did not let civilians out of the basements and hammered the doors with nails, turning the apartments into combat positions.

Resident of Mariupol about Ukrainian atrocities: I just found out yesterday that my mother got burned alive

Valentina from Mariupol told about the horrors she and her family had to survive at times when Ukrainian nationalists were shelling the city:

"On March 10, when the DPR was not here yet, a shell from the Ukrainian army flew into our yard. In the yard, people were cooking food, an 11-year-old girl Lerochka was killed. Three guys from our entrance hall were killed.

My parents' apartment burned down. Mom got burned alive in the apartment, dad, thank God, got off. I just found out yesterday that my mother got burned alive."

While answering a question on how such atrocities could be possible, Valentina underlined:

"Because they are not humans [Ukrainians]. When were they humans? They are fascists. Pure fascists. And we need to kick them out of here from our land. They have nothing to do here."
