Daft Punk released Electroma in 2006 with the help of Virgin Records. The first Daft Punk film to be made without their own music, there has been speculation for years of a "secret sound track" -suggested has been Virgin Records first Album Tubular Bells by Mike Oldsfield (popularized in the X-files) while others suggested Tangerine Dream's album Phaedra. While researching both albums I came across stories of the production of Daft Punk's film Electroma as well as the production diaries of Mike Oldsfield and Tangerine Dream: are ethereal and each album side is essentially one ambient interwoven track. Both albums had months delay between one album side and the other, perhaps both were meant to be played in order? there was still the question of a 9 minute gap of darkness at the end of the film, hard to wrestle with this dark screen being intentional.

Finally in 2021, Daft Punk released Epilogue, a credits reel finale exactly the length of the missing chunk of the film, seemingly ending the search for the "secret soundtrack" to this cult classic art film by Daft Punk.

I present you with the result.
