It has quickly become our FAVORITE Dish from one of our favorite restaurants! **We've loved this chicken recipe forever, and we found a way to duplicate it **We know you will be happy with this dish, AND will make it again and again **BON APPETIT! ▶︎So, HERE'S THE TRUE STORY on the "BEST Buca di Beppo-Style 🍋 LEMON CHICKEN Recipe | WE FOUND IT!'"***
It's so worth it to watch this segment! The end result is delicious. We have a personal story of our fabulous times dining at Buca di Beppo (you're so fortunate if you still have one in your town). We'll tell it at the end. (wink) But, more importantly, we NEVER went to a Buca without ordering the Lemon Chicken. We felt that no one did it better. On a mission to find out how to make it, we think we've succeeded. Bon Appetit, friends. We'd love an invitation if you're making it! 🍋

▶︎Recipe INGREDIENTS:
1 egg
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/3 cup all-purpose (or GF) flour
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon paprika
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup melted butter
2 teaspoons chicken bouillon
1/2 cup hot water
1 tablespoon capers

▶︎Recipe DIRECTIONS:
1. Combine egg and 1 tbsp lemon juice in a small bowl; beat well with a whisk. Combine flour, garlic powder and paprika in a small bowl; stir well. Put chicken breasts between two sheets of waxed paper. Pound until the chicken is flattened and even in thickness.
2. Dry the chicken off by patting it with paper towels. The dryer your chicken, the more the batter will adhere to the chicken.
3. Dip chicken in egg mixture; dredge in flour mixture. Brown chicken in melted butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat 2 - 3 minutes on each side.
4. Dissolve bouillon in hot water. Add bouillon mixture and 2 tablespoons lemon juice to chicken.
5. Bring to a boil; cover; reduce heat; and, simmer 10-15 minutes or until chicken is done. Plate. Garnish with capers and lemon slices.
