The Demise of the Earth - Isaiah 24:3-11, 19-23
2 years ago
This poem may seem very depressing, but we must understand that, like with many spiritual words, the Bible's view of the Earth is different from our view of the Earth.
In the Bible, Earth represents the people who think only earthly and not heavenly, so the destruction presented in this poem is directed only to sinners. Once they are gone, the perfect world Christians seek can finally be created.
