• What was the “thorn in Paul’s flesh?”
• A thorn to keep Paul from becoming proud.
• From the “messenger of satan.”

• Paul’s reaction is a model to us.
• He kept praying for relief, but he kept working.
3. Verse 9…
• God’s power works best in “weakness.”
• Most gladly I will boast
• Paul has a strong desire for the spiritual power that God offers.
4. Verse 10…
• The power of a positive attitude.
• Paul made a determination to keep working through his situation.
• God’s grace transformed Paul’s perspective.
