Kind Hearts And Coronets: Like Father Like Daughter by David Spicer

The BBC Radio sequel to the classic black comedy KIND HEARTS AND CORONETS, with characters and situations taken from the classic Edwardian comedy novel ISRAEL RANK by Roy Horniman.

Louis Mazzini, the 10th Duke of Chalfont, systematically and successfully murdered his way into possession of the title in Edwardian England. It is now well into the 20th century, and even against a backdrop of international conflict and revolution a title is nothing to be sneezed at and is to be fought for by any means possible. The Gascoyne family is still a large one, with at least eight claimants to the title, and all of them uncannily resemble each other in ruthlessness as well as in facial features.

Enter Unity Holland, the illegitimate daughter of Louis Mazzini by his mistress Sibella. Cut out of the family line and succession to the title by Louis' widow Lady Edith, Unity is determined to prove herself her father's daughter in more ways than one ... especially by claiming the Chalfont title, no matter how many bodies of her relatives she has to step over (not to mention create!) ...
