Diablo 2 Resurrected Cold Immunity, Broken Or Finally Working?

Look, before we even start I understand that cold immune monsters in diablo 2 were never able to be broken through, However. Why is that? We have always been able to break through damage types before just never cold. So it could be entirely possible that cold immune monsters are finally working properly other than it being broken now, I don't know, Just sayin...
