⚜️The officer in the video here is a professional protector who’s up against someone in a wheelchair. Make no mistake that this video is not about making fun of the police officer, but it is an incident which we all can learn something from. No matter who you’re dealing with, there are a few things that you must always keep in mind.
Tactical positioning is one of them. You do not want to put yourself in a vulnerable position where you’re totally exposed to the enemy. Consider rolling risk assessment in these situations. Know who you’re dealing with and never let your guard down. Learn how to deconstruct your environment so that you can effectively implement protection tactics before something happens.
A very important consideration while carrying firearms is weapon retention. Do you know how to defend your firearm? Or use secondary tools if and when required?
So much comes down to your level of fitness and the work that you put into yourself, and your skills.
Elevate your fitness levels, do not think that if you have a firearm with you, you’re always safe… there is so much more to this game.
