White Hat, Black Hat, As Long As It Catches the Mouse its a good Hat

I have seen a lot lately about white hat hackers secretly working behind the scenes to save the country. I think there is a misconception as to what makes a white hat vs a black hat hacker.

If there really was a group of people working against the "system", they would be black hats. The white hats are those working with the government over at the FBI and the NSA.

Take for example Edward Snowden. he was a white hat up until he decided to let us know that the government was illegally spying on us. At that moment he became a black hat, and a fugitive.

These days the government would know immediately when someone goes off course, and they would be a fugitive.

I also want to talk about the movement to defund the police. This is not really a movement to get rid of the police, it is a movement to transform the police. They are making it so uncomfortable for police to do their job that all the good police, the ones who actually care about our rights, are quitting. They will all be replaced by police who do whatever they are told to get a paycheck. Our rights will become absolutely meaningless when the police no longer have any loyalty to the constitution, and what this country is supposed to stand for.
