How serious is the situation in China regarding Evergrande, and what effects will it have on us? I have heard people saying the United States is not very exposed, but that is not true, just look at the stock market.

Over the years of living in China I have heard expats talking about the housing market. Some insisted that the market would crash spectacularly, while others argued the government would never let it happen. Today I believe we are seeing those who argued for collapse proved correct. The strange part is that this may have been done on purpose.

The troubles that Evergrande is experiencing started with a rule change pushed by the communist party about how much debt these types of companies could have. It may be that we are seeing the communists go after the capitalists that they despise.

I am also concerned that if the collapse becomes uncontrollable, the Chinese might react very badly. What if they decide to attack while they are still able to do so? A regime pushed to the edge like that may become unstable, and unpredictable.

I also want to point out to everyone that we are currently in a lot of danger as long as Joe Biden remains president. For 40 hours the British prime minister tried to contact Joe Biden during the Afghan collapse without response. Nobody is flying the plane, and if they are, they are flying it purposely into the side of a mountain. Our enemies are well aware of this too. Suppose they decide to launch nuclear weapons at us knowing that there will be no imminent counter attack? The only person able to give the order to launch such counter attack is Joe Biden.

It is also important for everyone to realize that we are rapidly approaching a situation where we are no longer just trying to save the country or our freedom, our very lives are in danger. The other side is talking about leaving the unvaccinated behind, and the government has plans to move unvaccinated people into what are effectively concentration camps. How long before the rhetoric on the left turns so extreme that they are calling for the elimination of the threat to their safety? Don't be surprised if things reach that point.
