Momma Chicken and babies with a Sara-gent mother trying to take her babies.

This mama hen Did not hatch any of her eggs. She wouldn’t sit on them she would get up and go running around so her babies didn’t hatch. When this other mama had her babies all hatch out the other mother we called her the Sarah Gent she decided she was going to take some of the babies for herself. So she has always followed them around which actually helps keep them safer from varmints that might try to Kill the babies and have them for lunch. But together they haven’t lost any of these babies. We’re so proud of the two of them, although if Sarah get mom would just go on away and leave them alone she would start laying eggs again. But as long as she is with the baby she won’t lay her eggs.
