Living on the streets of broken dreams
In lonelytown U.S.A.
Thinking about lost loves and friends
It's another typical day.

Running as fast as I can
Every morning for an hour or two,
The ghosts of my past chasing me
Through the alleyways painted blue.

You'll need a guide to get you
Through the maze called Lonely town,
The streets are color coded for safety
So the lost can be easily found.

The yellow lines are for the fear
With the lows all out to beat
And it's only luck that will get you
Through the death and dispair of the street.

The weak don't stay long in lonely town
And your heart has to have great strength,
For the past and the present are here
And will follow you to any length.

and as your friends leave one by one
In your misery there's no question why,
For in your selfishness and rage at life
It's your loneliness makes you cry.

A peek at the life of addiction!
