A New York Police Department officer was credited with saving the life of an unconscious and unresponsive two-year-old boy in Brooklyn by performing CPR, footage released on September 13 shows.

The NYPD’s official Twitter page posted the bodycam footage, which was recorded on August 27, according to the timestamp.

According to the Twitter post, Officer DeLeon from the 78th Precinct responded to the call. Footage shows an adult handing the child to him, and DeLeon starting CPR almost instantly, saving the child’s life
