The End is Here! Rapture Watch, Part 2 "Like a Thief in the Night"

Prophecy all points to the imminent return of Jesus. Romans 1: 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 21 Because that, when they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, neither were they thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 24 So God gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:25 Meaning the people who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creation more than the Creator, 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is disgraceful, and receiving in themselves that consequences of their error which was justified. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not convenient;29 Being filled with all types of evil deeds, Knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, and so are those who have pleasure in them that commit these acts. (Approving of wickedness makes us as bad as the wicked. Scary) So we see all of this taking place, we know the end is upon us. So what happens next? Naturally, the next step in our build up to the end is the Rapture, and it could be any day.

. The Rapture will be immediately followed by the Great Tribulation

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

2 Peter 3:10-13

One thing is for sure, the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; ( the minute people aren’t paying attention, the Rapture will come by surprise_

Revelation 3:3

If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

1 Thessalonians 5:3

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. (many believe this is a false peace in the Middle East) But a lot of people put their faith in governments and people. Both are very corrupt today, so faith in them is faith misplaced.

In Matt 24:27, Jesus said, For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines to the west; so shall the coming of the son of man be.

3 verses later, Jesus tells us that

...all the tribes of earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. 2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, the antichrist...

Revelation 13:16-17

And he will cause everyone, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: that no one might buy or sell, save they have the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Matthew 24:21-22

And then there will be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be again. And except those days should be shortened, no flesh will be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened. In these times,

Matthew 24:9-10

They shall deliver you up (Christians) to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and you will be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

This is only the beginning of the Great Tribulation. More worse is to come. So What Can We Do?

In Matthew 24:44 we are forewarned to

be ready: for in such an hour as you think not Jesus will come.

Luke 21:36 KJV

Therefore watch, and pray always, that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

So much of the scripture that we have covered has happened, and some is currently happening. Only the Rapture and Tribulation are yet to come, and you want to go in the Rapture. To be here during the Tribulation would be simply horrible. So be ready, watch and pray!
