Mark Zuckerberg Anticipates that Meta will Lose Money Over the Next Five Years!

On Wednesday, Mark Zuckerberg informed shareholders that Meta's project will incur "significant" losses over the next three to five years. According to Meta's board, many of its products for an "embodied internet" would be unviable in 10 to 15 years. Meta committed $10 billion in 2021 alone to construct its metaverse, and it already has 10,000 people working towards Zuckerberg's goal. According to Bloomberg, Zuckerberg addressed shareholders, "We want to make hardware as affordable as possible for everyone while also ensuring the growth of the digital economy." The metaverse would eventually generate cash by serving as a marketplace for artists and companies to offer virtual goods and services.
