Body camera footage from an officer-involved shooting has been released to the public.

On Nov. 24, 911 received a call from a man who said he may harm people and needed police to come to his place of residence in the 1000 block of SW 84th.

The video shows two officers arriving on scene to find 22-year-old Twaun Jackson in the garage with a gun. The officers immediately ran for cover behind their police car.

In the video, officers yell multiple times at Jackson to drop his weapon. When Jackson began firing at the officers, the officers shot back. Jackson was shot but the injury was non-life-threatening.

The two officers involved in the shooting of Jackson have been placed on administrative leave while the case is under investigation.
