As a pastor for over 40 years, I have seen a lot of conflict in people's marriages. The Scripture says my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Men and women are different from each other. Men truly do not understand how women think and operate. Women do not understand how men think and operate. You need to get this deep into your heart: Men and Women Do Not Think Alike.

This causes great frustration, confusion, anger, deep hurts, bitterness, and many times divorce. I can understand this when it comes to those who do not know Christ, but not within the body of Christ.

Even in my marriage of almost 45 years with my precious wife, many times have conflicts even though we deeply love each other. When they first got married, my son Daniel and his wife Catherine watched this four-hour video series by Mark Gungor. They told me that the only way their marriage did not fall apart was because they saw this video series as newlyweds.

This is truly amazing because my son Daniel was raised basically in a German background, even as I was. Yes, he was raised with Christ in his life, yet a lot of our heritage is involved.

Now his wife Catherine originally came from China. Her background is completely different and is in contradiction to his. Not only did they have to deal with the difference between a man and a woman, but also with her cultural background. They claim this video series is why they're still together.

I watched a little of The Tale of Two Brains a little some time ago. But as I am writing a book on "How a Husband Can Win His Wife's Heart and Keep It", I decided that I better watch this series. This series has taken a different direction than what I'm going, and yet it is filled with absolutely amazing information. Some would think that is not spiritual enough for them, but actually, we live in the natural world.

Most believers are living between the natural and the spiritual. If we were so spiritual, then the natural problems, circumstances, struggles would not affect us. But we live in the nitty-gritty world, and we need to understand certain basic facts. From that point, we can move forward into the supernatural.

My wife and I have been watching this four-hour series together, and all I can say is wow. We should have watched it when we first got married. I strongly suggest that whether you're married or not, whether your marriage is doing wonderful or struggling, that you need to watch this series. Yes, all four hours of it.
