Friendly Wild Tapir Encounter (Funny Baby Reaction)

We visited Isla Tapir, near Tena, Ecuador, a few weeks ago, named for its small population of some of the 2500 tapirs left in the wild, with a guest from our retreat in the Amazon. No sooner did I say “I hope we see a tapir today,” a tapir busted out of the brush and walked right up to us. My toddlers reaction was priceless.
