Amber Heard Bruising Photos Were Used in Editing Program, Expert Says. A metadata expert questioned as a rebuttal witness in the Johnny Depp v. Amber Heard defamation trial testified that he analyzed several of Heard's photos that show alleged evidence of injury and claimed that he had no way of authenticating them.

Norbert "Bryan" Neumeister brought in several demonstratives that showed the analytics of several photos that Heard submitted.

Through Exif data analytics, some of the photos, Neumeister explained, showed that the software for the file was not from an iPhone, but that it was rendered in an editing program. In giving his opinion on the matter of the photos, Neumeister testified that there was "no way for any forensic expert to validate these photos," and said that he believed several photographs were modified.

Johnny Depp suggests Amber Heard attorney fabricated text messages in heated cross-examination
Johnny Depp suggested that Amber Heard’s attorney had fabricated negative text messages that he allegedly sent about his ex-wife.

“You can pull what you like, I’ve never said those words. There’s not enough hubris in me to say anything like that,” Mr Depp told Heard lawyer Ben Rottenborn during cross-examination on Wednesday.

Amber Heard’s legal team has rested their defence case in the defamation trial brought against her by ex-husband Johnny Depp. Testimony from rebuttal witnesses for Depp is underway, with the actor himself returning to the stand.

Heard is being sued by Depp for $50m for implying he her in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed. Although she didn’t name him, he claims her allegations impacted his ability to work. She is pursuing a counterclaim of $100m, of which a motion to dismiss was denied by Judge Penney Azcarate.

Supermodel and Depp-ex Kate Moss testified that during her relationship with the actor in the 1990s he did not pu*h her down the stairs as had been rumoured and mentioned by Heard in testimony.
