Loop Hero Review

Loop Hero is easily one of the fresher indie games I've played in sometime. While it might be easy to write if off because of the abundance of games with pixel graphics these days, you'd be doing yourself a disservice by doing so.

Combat in Loop Hero has a surprising twist, in that... there is none.. you have no direct control over what the character does. The only way you can shape the outcome is through indirect means, like knowing the time to have your hero walk through a village to replenish health, or when to use an oblivion card on a group of enemies so you don't have to fight them.
You'll have to dull punishment out to your hero as well, as placing monsters for them to fight is the only way they'll rake up the EXP and Equipment necessary to defeat the boss.
