It is hard to choose my favorite or even my top 2 best western doctrine countries, however I do have a top 3. I would say my favorite of all time is to play as Saudi Arabia and then Turkey and when I want to play a navy strategy I will play the Philippines. Japan is a good country to start with although it is a very popular country to play.
