----------
The Cincinnati Police Department released body camera footage Thursday of a man being shot by two officers earlier this week in Covington, Kentucky.
Police shot and killed Ali Coulter, 20, after going to a house with the Covington Police Department on Monday seeking information about warrants out for Coulter's arrest in connection with the murder of Christian Jones, 28, who was found shot to death in a crashed car on Bassett Road in East Price Hill last week.
Video from both Officer Charles Knapp and Officer Mark Longworth were shown.
The video from Ofc. Knapp shows an officer moving towards the back of the house, going through a back gate, where he finds Coulter leaving the back door.
After Coulter sees Knapp, he begins to run and the officer chases after him, through the backyard of the home. Coulter hops over a fence and, after being unable to get through cleanly, Knapp goes back to the front of the house where Coulter is seen coming from an alleyway.
Once Coulter is seen from Knapp's camera, officers begin to shout at him, including yelling "Drop the gun," before firing at him.
Coulter then stumbles a few steps and falls in the front yard.
Video from Ofc. Longworth's camera shows him staying in the front of the house until he hears shouting from the backyard, before running to the noise.
Longworth is shown to meet other officers in the back of the house, with Knapp trying to get over the fence and officers yelling "drop the gun."
Video shows Longworth following Knapp to the front of the house and is standing behind Knapp on the sidewalk (Knapp was on the front yard of a house down the street) at the time of Coulter's emergence from the alley.
Shots were already being fired by the time Longworth had drawn his gun, the video indicates.
Interim Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge did not show parts of the video during Thursday's press conference but did say officers treated Coulter after he was shot by giving him oxygen and performing chest compressions in attempts to save his life.
The video shows Coulter holding a gun, as well as the same gun laying next to him as he laid on the ground after being shot.
Cincinnati police did not say how many shots were fired.
Cincinnati Fraternal Order of Police President Dan Hils said while some of the members of the department's Fugitive Apprehension Squad were in plain clothes, they all had body cameras activated at the time of the shooting.
