On Wednesday, April 8, 2022, officers responded to a report of a burglary at a small restaurant at 51 Elliott St SW. The business owner came to the restaurant to open for the day and found a window was broken and money missing from inside.

A review of the security camera showed a suspect committing the crime and the responding officer was able to get a good description.

Later in the day, the officer was dispatched to another restaurant for a trespassing complaint. The trespasser was sleeping in the business’ doorway. The alert officer quickly recognized the suspect as the burglar from the surveillance video and arrested him. The suspect was charged with Burglary and is in the Fulton County Jail.

Arrestee: Jeremy Stephen Crumley, age 41. Crumley has 40 prior arrests for crimes including Aggravated Assault and Aggravated Stalking.
