RULES:
The object of the game is to have the most points at the end. You earn points by answering trivia questions correctly and by convincing the Judge that you know the answers, even if you’re actually clueless. Give each player an A, B, and C card. Shuffle the yellow trivia cards and place them face down on the table. Pick one player to be the first judge. The Judge draws the top card from the trivia deck and reads the question aloud, along with the 3 multiple choice answers. Each player picks an answer from their letter cards and places it face-down on the table.

Beginning left of the dealer then proceeding clockwise, without revealing their answer, each player tries to convince the judge how or why they picked the correct answer based on their background or experiences that makes them knowledgeable of the topic. They are not allowed to say or hint at any of the answers on the card and they may not use any props or visual aids. If they do, they lose 1 point and are disqualified for the round.

If you don’t know the correct answer, then you try and fake it to get the judge to pick you. The judge can revisit any player’s answer and ask follow-up questions to any player at any time. Players are allowed to trash talk to try and convince the judge why another player doesn’t know the answer.

Once the judge is finished, they give the brilliant card to a player they believe picked the correct answer and the BS card to a player they think picked an incorrect answer. If the judge believes everyone chose the correct answer, then they only assign the Brilliant card to the person who gave the most believable answer. If the judge believes everyone picked the incorrect answer, then they assign the BS card to the entire group instead.

After the Brilliant and BS cards have been assigned, the judge reads the correct answer from the trivia card and all the players reveal their letter cards. Each player who guessed the correct answer earns 1 point. The player who received the “Brilliant” card earns an extra 2 points but the player who received the “BS” card earns 0 extra points. The judge earns 1 point if they correctly assigned the “Brilliant” card to a correct answer and 1 point for assigning the “BS” card to an incorrect answer. Otherwise, the judge loses 1 point for each incorrect assignment. If the judge only assigned a single card, then the judge earns 2 points if all the answers are correct for the “brilliant” card or 2 points if all the answers were incorrect for the “BS” card. If even one player’s answer was different from the group, then the judge loses 2 points instead.

Record the scores on a piece of paper and players gather up their cards and a new round is played with the role of judge moving clockwise by 1. Repeat this process until everyone has been the judge twice, then the game ends and the player with the most points, wins. If there is a tie, then the tied players either agree to a draw or they may play against each other by drawing trivia cards and asking each other questions until one of them answers correctly when the other one doesn’t.
