"The joke was...the iPhone was the greatest thing, except for a phone." Tony Fadell led the teams that created the iPod and the iPhone. In this clip, he gives a behind-the-scenes look at what went into creating the first iPhone.

After his time at Apple, Tony went on to build the Nest Thermostat and now runs the investment firm Future Shape and recently released his memoir titled “Build: An Unorthodox Guide to Making Things Worth Making."
